Hillebrandt to Lead All Aspects of HFC’s Financial Strategy and Manage Technology Department
(ORANGE, CA. May, 2016) — Financial executive with expertise in retail, consumer products and technology businesses, Tom Hillebrandt joined Home Franchise Concepts® as Chief Financial Officer in April, 2016. As CFO, he will serve as a trusted advisor and provide strategic input to Chief Executive Officer, Shirin Behzadi, and leadership on the strategy and direction of HFC with a financial and operational focus.
Mr. Hillebrandt brings over 25 years of senior financial management experience to HFC working for a diverse group of companies ranging from Big-4 public accounting to start-ups to a billion-dollar-plus global manufacturing business. “In many ways, HFC is about entrepreneurs,” said Mr. Hillebrandt. “It was founded by entrepreneurs to help entrepreneurs start their own businesses. I have a mix of experience from start-up to global organizations, as well as having started my own business. I can relate to the entrepreneur, and I also have the experience to help the business operate on a larger scale.”
Prior to joining HFC, Mr. Hillebrandt served as CFO for Wet Seal, a junior women’s apparel business. He also served as the Vice President of Finance & IT for The Territory Ahead, CFO for Deckers Outdoor Corporate, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer for K2, Inc. and CFO for Fotoball USA, Inc. He is excited about the opportunity at HFC to work with a strong management team with a solid track record and to help expand the company’s capabilities in order for the business to continue its growth. Mr. Hillebrandt is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
