Home Organization and Garage Flooring Franchisor Seeks to Gain More Market Share by Strengthening Franchise Network
(ORANGE, Calif. – August, 2016) – In a recent 2016 midyear update report to their franchise system, Tailored Living announced double-digit, year-over-year sales growth through June 30 compared to last year. The home organization brand is on track to beat sales projections for the year and hit their highest sales numbers in the company’s six-year history.
Contributing to Tailored Living’s sales growth is their product mix of customized in-home organization systems for closets, bedrooms, family rooms, pantries and utility rooms, garage flooring and garage cabinetry. This aligns with Freedonia’s 2015 home organization industry market research and demand forecast, in which Freedonia’s study projected that demand for home organization products in the U.S. will increase 3.5% per year through 2019 to $10.5 billion in annual sales.
According to Freedonia’s report, complete modular systems in which units can be added will grow the fastest and garages will be the fastest growing room for home organization product demand.

“We are engaging with professional, outside business coaches and including these services as part of our continuing education for our franchisees on business operations,” added Tafoya. “The new coaching plan will be tailored to the needs of our franchisees and will include monthly consultations to review sales, closing rates, lead generation, time management and business vitals.
