Shirin Behzadi, HFC CEOIn December, 2015, Shirin Behzadi took the helm at Home Franchise Concepts (HFC) as Chief Executive Officer, advancing from her previous position as Chief Financial Officer, a post she held for over sixteen years providing fiscal, strategic and operational guidance for Budget Blinds® as well as HFC’s family of brands, including Tailored Living®, BB Commercial Solutions®, Inspired Drapes®, Concrete Craft® and MADE Blinds®.

Shirin joined Budget Blinds in 1999, and today, as CEO of HFC, Shirin leads the executive team to direct all aspects of the company’s operations and to grow its family of brands to become the largest retailers in the home improvement space.

“As I reflect on Budget Blinds’ growth and the growth of Home Franchise Concepts, it has been a pleasure to contribute to all aspects of our evolution and to know that we have something very special with our franchisees and our brands,” said Behzadi.  “This is an exciting time for all of us, and we are poised and empowered to take our business to the next level.”

Shirin believes in the entrepreneurial spirit and applies this spirit to focus on what is best for the company’s franchisees.  She believes it is this process that has also helped the company grow from one brand with less than 100 franchise territories to four brands serving nearly 9,000 cities in North America.

Budget Blinds is the flagship brand that launched in 1992 and is the proven leader in custom window coverings across North America and ranked #1 in category since 1994 by Entrepreneur® magazine.  Featured on NBC’s national hit show, Undercover Boss, Budget Blinds products have also been featured on Designing Spaces, Buying & Selling with the Property Brothers, and the Marc & Mandy Show and Love It or List It in Canada.  Tailored Living, a leader in the home organization space, is regularly featured on TV hits such as George to the Rescue and Home with the Property Brothers. Concrete Craft offers full service concrete floor designs and along with MADE Blinds, an e-commerce site for the DIY consumer, are the newest brands added to HFC’s portfolio in 2015.
