Chief Financial Officer
Tom joined us in April 2016. He brings over 25 years of senior financial management experience to HFC working for a diverse group of companies ranging from Big-4 public accounting to start-ups to a billion dollar plus global manufacturing business. His industry experience includes technology, consumer products and retail businesses with extensive mergers and acquisition experience.
Tom is a Certified Public Accountant and most recently served as the CFO for a junior women’s apparel business.
As CFO, he leads all aspects of HFC’s financial strategy and is responsible for accounting, finance, tax, treasury and IT for HFC. Tom serves as a trusted advisor and provides strategic input to the CEO and leadership on the strategy and direction of HFC with a financial and operational focus. He also acts as a key interface with the board and our investors.
Chief Development Officer
A 28-year veteran of the franchise world, JT started with Home Franchise Concepts in 2003 as a Franchise Licensing Advisor. Now as the Chief Development Officer, he is responsible for the strategic planning, direction, and franchise growth of Home Franchise Concepts’ four brands: Budget Blinds, Tailored Living, Concrete Craft and AdvantaClean.
JT leads an award-winning team of professional franchise advisors who have participated in awarding over 1,300 HFC franchise territory to candidates, including his mother, brother and nephew who own nine Budget Blinds franchises.
Chief Marketing Officer
Bringing over 25 years of strong marketing experience, Gayle Milling joined the HFC team in March of 2017. Her past experience includes helping to build & transform some of the top consumer brands across specialty retail, ecommerce, restaurant franchise systems, 7 packaged-goods businesses for companies such as McDonald’s, PepsiCo & PetSmart to smaller start-up online businesses.
Gayle’s recent role as head of global digital strategy at Oakley lends itself well to the development of HFC’s digital marketing focus to fuel brand growth.
As CMO, Gayle leads all aspects of marketing including fully integrated national marketing plans to drive awareness and equity across all HFC brands as well as providing a strong marketing framework for local marketing efforts & hence demand generation for franchisees. Her role also includes facilitating direct franchise growth & acquisition through marketing efforts as well as management of all external marketing agencies.
Chief Information Officer
Faisal Khan is Chief Information Officer of Technology at Home Franchise Concepts. He joined HFC in 2016, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership experience in IT and Business Strategy, Operations, Supply-Chain and Chain-Management.
He led numerous enterprise technology transformations, customer experience programs and business integrations
He has worked in various industries from Manufacturing, Supply-Chain, Distribution and Service across verticals such as HR, Forestry, Packaging, Commercial Printing, Energy/Utilities and Automotive Components.
>As CIO, Faisal leads all aspects of HFC’s Technology operations to help HFC synergize its investments across the various brands while leading the development of key business applications to support the operational and continuous improvement programs.
Sr. EVP Of Product Strategy
John Campbell joined Budget Blinds in September of 2000 with the primary purpose of starting & managing a vendor alliance program. This program has been successful in giving Budget Blinds’ franchises a competitive advantage in their territories while providing a substantial Rebate/ Co-op revenue stream that supports Budget Blinds’ national marketing efforts.
In addition, John has been responsible for developing the Builder & Commercial (BBCS) programs that supply window coverings for national accounts, such as PulteGroup, Lennar Homes, NVR Ryan Homes, FedEX Office, Dunkin Donuts * Scott Trade.
John has over 40 years of experience in the window covering industry and has a Finance degree from California State University, Northridge. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of positions in the window covering industry including National Sales Manager for a division of Hunter Douglas, Western Regional and Canadian Sales Manager for a division of Levolor Home Fashions, and National Sales Manager for Blind Design Inc.
EVP, General Counsel
Jennie has worked in franchising her entire career, commencing in 1987. She joined the company in 2004 as our General Counsel & in 2012 also became VP. Jennie oversees the Legal, Human Resources, Training & Business Support departments. Jennie’s career in franchising began in operations until she transitioned to law in 1998 after earning her law degree in her native Australia.
Upon moving to the United States in mid-2000, she was admitted to practice as an attorney by the California and New York state bars and since 2004 has focused her legal practice in-house.
In addition to acting as the company’s General Counsel, Jennie focuses on operations, especially training and business support for the company’s franchisees. She is also actively involved in the company’s international expansion plans.
EVP Of Key Accounts
Dan started his career at Home Franchise Concepts in 2002, taking on various senior management positions developing business strategies, training, support programs and strategic partnerships. He has an extensive background in leadership positions, including: Sales Manager, District Manager, Regional Director, Vice President & President.
Executive VP of Key Accounts for HFC, Dan is focused on growing the key account program by adding national accounts, commercial coaching programs and ongoing, continuing education of key accounts for all HFC brands.
According to Dan, the foundation for the success of key accounts is built on growth, collaborative teamwork and trust.
EVP of Product Development & Management
A 23-year veteran of the Window Coverings industry, Tracy began her career with Home Franchise Concepts in 2002.
Brought in as the Vendor Alliance Manager, She built a program with a network of the industry’s leading suppliers to meet the surging needs of the company’s growing franchise system.
In 2007, Tracy’s achievements earned her promotion to Vendor Alliance Director, & she continued to build key vendor relationships & partnerships with top manufacturers in the industry to bring breadth of product & separation to the Budget Blinds brand & its franchise owners.
Tracy joined the Executive team in 2011 as Vice-President of Vendor Alliance. In her expanded role, she continued to advance vendor relationships while also leading the development of Inspired Drapes®, a new brand and product line to further the company’s market reach into soft treatments. Tracy also serves as the company spokeswoman and expert on the window coverings industry and trends. She has appeared in numerous TV shows and in print media.
