Budget Blinds, North America’s #1 window covering franchise just wrapped up their National Convention in Las Vegas, NV.  The event brought together hundreds of Budget Blinds franchisees to celebrate the accomplishments of 2012 and prepare for a successful 2013.  The convention this year featured guest speakers Drew and Jonathan Scott of HGTV’s Property Brothers.  The brothers brought their experiences in the home improvement arena and shared it with the franchisees during breakout presentation. By talking about their challenges in working with clients they were able to offers suggestions and solutions for franchisees experiencing similar scenarios.

Convention week was filled with educational classes as well as new product announcements such as Inspired Drapes – an exclusive line of exquisite soft window treatments only available through Budget Blinds. Franchisees will be able to provide their customers with beautiful fabric choices and contemporary styles to help beautify their homes. With the addition of Inspired Drapes franchisees will have access to a whole new niche market.

The Budget Blinds National Convention concluded with an Awards Gala. The gala is a staple of the event and recognizes the top franchise performers in categories including Most Improved, Best New Franchise and Top Selling Franchise. One of the night’s big winners was Dawn Cameron of Budget Blinds serving Medicine Hat, AB, Canada. She and her team received the award for the #1 selling franchise unit in Canada and the #2 selling franchise unit in all of North America with over 1.5 million in sales; a truly remarkable feat considering the over 800 franchise territories in the Budget Blinds system.

With new product announcements and new national marketing initiatives, Budget Blinds is poised to continue to grow and remain one of the best franchise opportunities in the nation.
