General Usage This is the official accessibility statement for Home Franchise Concepts. We strive to make our websites accessible and easy to use for all visitors. If you have any questions or comments, please send an email to:
Standards Compliance All pages on this site use the latest standards to ensure interoperability with all platforms and browsers.
Valid XHTML 1.1 Valid CSS Compliant with all U.S Federal Section 508 Guidelines. Compliant with most WCAG guidelines
Unfortunately, full compliance with the various accessibility doctrines is difficult to achieve because of the vagueness of some of the rules, as well as the fact that many checkpoints require a manual inspection and or a judgment call of the individual pages. This makes automated testing difficult as many aspects are open to interpretation or are unable to detect different solutions to the various issues in web site development. We’ve reviewed the pages on the site and believe them to be in compliance.
Access Keys This site uses access keys to make it easier for users to navigate the site. If you are using Internet Explorer, hold down the alt key and press the letter of number or the link then press enter. If you are using FireFox, just press alt and the letter. If you are using Safari, use the control key instead.

Links All of the links on this site are designed to be as intuitive as possible and can be understood out of context. When necessary, a link will contain the title attribute with an expanded description of the links destination. Any link that opens in a new browser window will be denoted with an arrow symbol and will contain descriptive title text to that effect.
Images All images on the site make use of the “alt” or alternate text tag to provide a brief description of the image.
Visual design This site uses Cascading Style Sheets for it’s design and layout. We also built our site to support different font sizes to make it compatible with each user’s browser accessibility options, and an option to change the font size easily on every page. If a browser or screen reader doesn’t support style sheets, all of the content on the page is still readable.
